NUTREN® RENAL formerly known as NUTRIRENAL™ Complete Nutrition is designed for the dialyzed patient with acute or chronic renal failure. Formulated for short- or long-term use, it can be used as a tube feeding or as an oral supplement.

NUTREN RENAL provides 14% of its calories as high-biological-value protein to help minimize urea production. An enhanced profile of vitamins and minerals helps replace the losses from dialysis. A reduced electrolyte content for restricted diets. The calorically dense formulation (2.0 kcal/mL) provides needed energy in a limited fluid volume.

NUTREN RENAL is available in the ULTRAPAK® Enteral Closed System, a prefilled, non-air-dependent closed system to reduce set-up time, minimize the potential for bacterial contamination, decrease waste and provide the flexibility of a hang time of up to 48 hours.
